Hunting Palace (Habsburg residence) - It was established in the nineteenth century on the remains of the fortifications of a Gothic castle. It was built in the years 1838-1840 in the classical style. The castle housed the guest rooms of the Archduke of Cieszyn and the chambers of Komora Cieszyńska. Since 1947, it has been the seat of the Music School, whose students were, among others Stanisław Hadyna, Karol Stryja, Jan Sztwiertnia. Next to it was the orangery (demolished in 1966). Franciszek Liszt. On the edge of the castle courtyard there is a monument dedicated to the memory of a distinguished pedagogue, teacher and poet - Jan Kubisz. Since 2005, in the restored part of the palace and the reconstructed conservatory there is the seat of the Cieszyn Castle - a specific center of entrepreneurship, whose main task is to strengthen the competitiveness of Silesian companies by improving the industrial design of their products. The institution houses, among others, two exhibition and conference rooms, workshop rooms - workshops: ceramics, textiles, design, computer and multimedia graphics as well as premises for newly established enterprises (business incubator), a hotel with a wine bar. In the free-standing building in the inner palace courtyard, there is tourist information with facilities for guides and a souvenir shop - artistic and folk handicrafts.
