The original church was built along with the school and apartment in 1743-1746, from the foundation of Count Erdmann Promnitz, according to the plans of Christian Jahne. In 1860 the tower was added and in 1896 new organs were built. Destroyed during the fire in 1905, it was rebuilt by Scheinnert in the Neo-Baroque style in 1905-1907. A stone tombstone of knight Zawadzki from Polanka, who died in 1716, was embedded in the outer wall.
