A cable car operating in the Silesian Park in Chorzów. From September 7, 1967, the Elka cable car carried over 15 million passengers. The cable car carried around 135,000 people a year. Transport capacity of one section was about 1,300 people per hour. The total length of the route was almost 6 km. The route of the queue consisted of three sections, which were connected in a characteristic triangle: - Silesian Stadium - Silesian Merry Town - Silesian Merry Town - Silesian Planetarium - Silesian Planetarium - Silesian Stadium - The ride over all three sections takes about an hour. From a height of a few or several meters above the ground, you can admire the nature of the park, including animals gathered in the Silesian Zoological Garden. It has been operating in a modern form since September 8, 2013. The route is 2200 meters long.
